W7 Metal Pop Eye-Shadow Palette

This W7 eye-shadow palette I got from my make-up dealer Catherine from My Cosmetic Corner (Make Me Up). You can check out what other fab products she has to offer via her page and shop. If you place an order via her shop you can get 10% OFF by using my discount code BB10.

The palette comes in the old style metal tin that W7 once used with their older palette and have been using them again  of their new palettes. The palette has a funky multi-coloured design with a yellow and white blended lettering which is raised on the lid. On the back of the palette you have a picture of the 12 eye-shadows that are inside ( like W7 does with all their palettes) this is so you can see the shades before you buy it, then it lists the ingredients that were used in making the palette.

Open up the palette and you will find the 12 eye-shadows, along with a double-ended brush/sponge applicator. All the eye-shadows are shimmer in this palette, just like it states on the front of the palette. The design on the front repersents the eye-shadows well, as the shadows are a mixture of all colours and include the following colours; Purples, Pinks, Blue, Green, Browns, Coppers, Bronze and Silver.

I found that all the eye-shadows are high in pigments and have strong rich colours, the palette is very pretty to look at with the shimmer shades. They don’t diappoint once applied the light really catches them to which they shimmer and glisten. Due to the number of different colours and shades included in this palette you can create lots of different looks for al occassion including everyday to evening, but I do feel this palette makes a very stunning glam palette with all the shades being in shimer. The whole palette is of an amazing top quality, to where all the eye-shadows can be blended and applied easily.

Overall I love this shimmer palette it is full of soe amazing shades that all are top-notch quality and sparkle well. I espiecally love the Blue shade in this palette it is just dripping with ooze and is plainly stunning. I can’t wait to create lots of different looks with this palette, the only thing I have to say negatively about this palette is I wish it was in the W7 cardboard palette, as they are easier to travel with, plus they have a mirror in the inside of the lid to help with application, but either way I would still highly recommend this palette to others.

This palette retails at £ and I brought it from Catherine for £4.50, and remember you can get 10% OFF your order by using my discount code BB10 when you place an order on Catherine’s shop.

W7 Eye Love Hypoallergenic Mascara

img_2272

I purchased this W7 mascara because of two reasons, firstly I am obsessed with all W7 products and saw this and knew I needed to try it because if it’s like any of W7 products it will be of an amazing quality and will look fab. The second reason is I suffer alot with allergies more so in spring and summer with pollen, which effects my eyes alot so having an hypoallergenic mascara will help with protecting my eyes and prevent the itchy eyes and making a mess of my make-up and causing black or panda eyes.

img_2273

The mascara comes in a White chunky tube, where the lid/handle has a slanted top which has the W7 logo engraved into it. The lettering is in a peachy colour, while on the opposite side of the lettering it shows the shade’s name and the ingredients used in making the mascara. The design fits with the hypoallergenic with the White tube which gives the look of it being clean and simple. Unscrew the handle and pull out the wand which is Black, you will find a hourglass looking brush with silicone bristles, which are longer at the chunky ends and then smaller in the middle, plus the brush doesn’t get overloaded with mascara when you pull it out from the tube.

img_2270

Using the mascara is easy to use as the brush has been made to catch all your lashes, even the small ones that are sometimes missed by other mascara. The mascara coats the lashes in a even coat of the Black mascara, while also providing a fuller and longer look to my lashes. The mascara has that weird smell to it that you get with all hypoallergenic products, which weirdly makes you want to sneeze (well it does for me). The mascara helps to create a wide eye and defined look which helps finish your look off.

Overall this mascara is good for you, but as well it provides so many benefits to your eyes with how it lengthening them and makes your eyes look fuller and bigger all by just a coat of this amazing mascara. I would highly recommend this mascara to all, just like all of W7 products they are always of an amazing quality and at affordable prices.

This mascara retails at £5.95.

La Meila Eye-Shadow Palettes

img_2261

These two eye-shadow palettes from a brand which I never heard of but was curious to try, came from my make-up dealer Catherine from My Cosmetic Corner (Make Me Up). You can check out her other products she has to offer via her page and shop. If you place an order through her shop you can get 10% OFF your order by using my discount code BB10.

img_2262

These palettes come in a Black cardboard box which has words all over it, which you can just make out when you move the box into different angles, the box then also have a bright pink boarder and lettering. On the back of the box it is mostly in Chinese, so I am unable to read it, but there is a paragraph which got lost in translation with what it is meant to say about the eye-shadows (Blush as they are calling them). When you remove the palettes from the box you will find an rectangle shaped glossy Black snap case, with holographic Silver lettering on the front.

img_2263

Open up the palettes and you will find a mirror in the lid, then in the base 12 eye-shadows come in small rectangles, where over-top of them you have a clear plastic protective cover which shows the number of the shade along with a funky picture which are mostly of drinks and few others designs which are all in White, but these designs don’t have anything to do with the palette or the shades as the protective sleeves are exactly the same in both palettes, so I believe this to be a stock sheet which the company use. You also get a small double ended sponge applicator.

The shadows in both of these palettes are a mixture of matte and shimmer shades, From the looks of the shadows they look to be full of pigments and rich in colours, when it comes to using them the shadows are exactly that strong and rich in colours. All the shadows are easy to use and blend together to create a numerous amount of different looks from everyday to evening. The shimmers in each of the palettes catch the light well and glisten, while the matte shades give you a great base and overall eye look, which is a classic look.

Palette 1

img_2264

This palette is the earthy palette as it consists of an mixture of Browns, Golds, Coppers and Bronze colours. This is a great first palette with the nude and neutral shades as well as a statement palette to have it your collection.

img_2265

Below is one of the looks I created with the many shades included in this palette.

img_2271

Palette 2

img_2266

This palette is the Pink palette as it consists of a mixture of Pinks, Reds and a few Copper and Bronze shades. This palette is a super fun and girly palette to have and would also be another statement palette in your collection.

img_2267

Below is on the looks I created with the many shades included in this palette.

img_2268

Overall these little compact palettes are amazing and for a brand I have never heard of and being Chinese, they do make an amazing quality palette with rich strong colours that are simply gorgeous in shades. If I had to pick a favourite one out of the two I would pick the Pink palette, as I love the fun girly colours and I absolutely adore the look I created with it. I would highly recommend these palettes and I’m hoping I can try more of this brand’s products.

Beauty Glazed Rose Gold Elixir

img_2257

This elixir was a product from my make-up dealer and bestie Catherine from My Cosmetic Corner (Make Me Up). You can check out what other fab products she has up for offer via her page and shop. Plus make an order through her shop and you can get 10% OFF by using my discount code BB10.

This elixir comes in a dark navy Blue cardboard box with a Gold banner across the top, the logo of the company is in the Dark Navy Blue in the Gold banner, while the rest of the lettering is in Gold, the elixir part in the lettering is in a Gold bar with Dark Navy Blue lettering. You have a small matte picture of the bottle underneath the writing. On one of the sides you have a raised image of a dropper with a drop of Gold coming from it to represent the Gold elixir. On the back of the box it has directions, ingredients and about product.

img_2258

Remove the elixir from the box and you will find a small glass bottle which is of a Silver colour with White lettering. Then on top of the bottle you have a dropper which is glass, but the casing which hold the squishy White dropper top is Gold. On the back of the bottle you have a little about the elixir again. The elixir itself is actually clear in shade with Gold flecks within the mixture, this is what I seem to be finding with all Gold primers/oils, that they are clear with flecks.

img_2259

Using the elixir you can either apply it directly to your face or to an applicator of you choice, to which then again with your choice of applicator you can spread it all over your face/body and let your skin absorb it fully. The elixir is of a liquid consistency, which is of an oily texture this is due to the number of oils that was included in making this elixir. The elixir absorbs well into my skin, and actually doesn’t make it or look greasy it just smooths out my skin giving it life again by looking radiant and makes of my imperfections look clearer and smoother which gives my skin an amazing boost and base before my make-up, but you can also just apply this and have an healthy looking glow to your skin.

img_2260

Overall this is actually of an amazing quality which doesn’t leave my skin feeling clogged up or heavy, as it’s very lightweight to wear and you don’t even realise you are wearing it after a while, my skin feels alot smoother and softer while giving me an even complexion and helps with making my foundation look flawless. I would highly recommend this elixir to others as well as other Beauty Glazed products as I am started to become an collector and finding that their products are of an high quality and make fantastic dupes of high-end products.

Technic Shimmer Pop Glitter Liquid Lipsticks

img_2240

Hey all I’m back with some more fab lip products from Technic which I got of my bestie and make-up dealer Catherine from My Cosmetic Corner (Make Me Up), you can check out what other fab product she has to offer via her page and shop, plus place an order via her shop and you can get 10% OFF by using my discount code BB10, so what you waiting for check out what amazing products you could get your hands on.

img_2241

These lipsticks come in a clear tube, with a gold glitter handle, then the lettering on the tube is also in a metallic gold, on the reverse side you have the shades name and then a list of ingredients that were used in making the lipstick. Due to the lipstick tube being clear you can see the shade of lipstick through it, which means you know the shade well before you buy it. The packaging really matches the name of the product well with the glitter handle and the metallic gold lettering.

img_2242

Unscrew the handle and pull out the wand which is white and at the end you will find a soft sponge applicator which is slightly slanted, this shape helps with applying the lipstick. Using the lipsticks are easy, you apply directly to your lips with the sponge applicator, this applies an even coat of the lipstick, which is full of pigments and has a good strong colour to it. The lipsticks will try matte, but as these are glitter lipsticks, you need to wait for it to fully dry and then press your lips together this activates the glitter, and after pressing your lips together a few times, you will be left with a lip colour which sparkles. The three shades that I have are the following; Twist & Shout, Locomotion and Disco Inferno.

Overall these lipsticks are fab and super magical with the way the glitter needs to be activated, but the lipsticks are simply of an top notch quality with a rich colour and high pigments. The design of the whole product has been well thought of and designed, these lipsticks are great for any occasion from everyday t evening but they would make that evening glam look that extras bit special with the glitter. I only have 3 and Technic do 4 different shades, which is called Disco Diva and I would like to get it and try as well as to own the full set.

I would highly recommend these to all, as they are simply fun and quirky as well as gorgeous shades. These retail for £4 each and I brought them off Catherine for £3 ish. Plus remember you can get 10% OFF your order when you place one through her shop, by using my discount code BB10.

Technic Glitter Palette – Unicorn Uniform!

img_2237

This Technic Glitter Palette I purchased from my Make-Up Dealer Catherine from My Cosmetic Corner (Make Me Up), you can check out what other fab products she has to offer via her page and shop. If you place an order through her shop you can get 10% OFF by using my discount code BB10.

This palette comes in a clear plastic lid snap case with a Black base, the lettering on the front of the palette is done in Silver lettering,m then there are 2 Black stickers where in silver lettering contain the palette’s name and another one which says “Get your glitter on”, due to the clear plastic lid you can see the 10 different glitters through it. Underneath in White lettering it gives you instructions on how to use them, it then also show a little diagram which represents each different glitter which are numbered, this is due to the ingredients that are listed have numbers next to them to show which ingredients where used in which glitters.

img_2238

Open up the palette and the 10 different glitters come in large circles, which in this palette consist of the following colours; Pinks, Purples, Silver, Silver, Black, White & Multi-Coloured. The glitters are of a fine texture and when it comes to using them, I found that the glitters are quite strong in pigments. The glitter transfer quite well for glitters, and you can use a number of different applicators. The glitters work better with a primer underneath, as this makes application easily, plus it makes removal easier. The glitters catch every single bit of light and truly do sparkle and glisten.

img_2239

Overall this palette has some amazing playful glitters, which suit the name for the palette, as with a unicorn you would associate bright, glitter and sparkles so you practically have an unicorn in this palette. My favourite glitter is the 3rd one on the top row, which is a mixture of multi-coloured glitters which are holographic and simply a mixture of all together. I don’t use glitters often, but when I do I like pretty colours that are girly and colourful. I would highly recommend this palette to others, whether you only use it for fun it doesn’t matter you can use this all over your body, and create a number or different looks for different occasions.

W7 Flirty Eyes Mascara

img_2235

This mascara was another product which I got off my make-up dealer Catherine from My Cosmetic Corner (Make Me Up), you can check out what other fab products she has via her page and shop, plus if you place an order through her shop you can get 10% OFF by using my discount code BB10.

This mascara comes in a shiny Black and shiny Crimson Red blended together, The tube that the mascara comes in starts of wider at the top and get slightly narrow at the bottom, the lid is slanted and at the end it has the W7 logo embossed into it. The lettering is in White and on the opposite side it shows the shade of the mascara and then it lists the ingredients that were used in making the mascara.

img_2236

Unscrew the handle to the wand and pull the brush out and you will find that the brush is of an hourglass shape and has silicone bristles which are long on the chunky ends and then short in the middle, it also doesn’t get overloaded with product which is thanks to when you pull the wand out it removes the excess from the brush on the way out of the mascara.

img_2234

Using the mascara I found that the hourglass shape helps to extend every lash, even the small ones, this means that my lashes are lengthens and defined and are of course evenly coated in the mascara. This also helps to create a look like you are wearing false lashes, but you can be proud to say that they are your own when someone asks, plus it will mean they will want to know what the mascara was as putting on lashes can be a fiddly and hard work. The mascara lasts all day but be careful as it’s not waterproof so it can be smudge or when wet it can run and leave streaks or black eyes, but no worries it can be easily removed.

Overall I love how my lashes look longer and fuller and I was really impressed with how applying one coat really define my eyes and left my eyes looking more open and bright and completing my eye-look. This mascara really is a bottle of false lashes in your pocket, and I would highly recommend this product to all. The product is of a high quality and at such a super affordable price for all just like all W7 products.

This products retails for £5.95 and I brought it from Catherine for £3.50, plus remember if you place an order through her shop you can get 10% OFF by using my discount code BB10.

2 Weeks Post-Op Update

img_2055

Hey all, back with an update with how I am doing it’s been 2 weeks since I had my surgeries and the removal of Endometriosis once again in less then 10 months from my last surgery. This post will give you an insight on how the last 2 weeks have gone and how my excisions points are and how I am personally feeling.

I was signed off for the 2 weeks to help give my body the rest and recovery time it needs to repair, but it also gave me time to rest after such an abrasive and heavy removal. So the first week I was pretty much out of it and was either on in bed or on the sofa, where I was very drowsy and sleepy, I lived in my PJ’s the first week as well. I struggled to do alot without help or just physically had trouble doing it that was from walking, climbing stairs and I was very uncomfortable all the time and couldn’t stay in a position very long, I struggled to sleep well at night due to having to sleep upright as I was unable to lay flat due to the pain and being uncomfortable, I was waking up every few hours to where I was needing my pain medication, to which once it had kick in I would eventually fall back to sleep but it would repeat again, which then in the morning I would have back, neck and head aches.

I struggle with the fact that I needed help, as after my last one I didn’t get the chance for help and had to do everything myself, I also went back to work the second day after my surgery, so never had the time off to recovery fully, but this time round I had to remember that I had alot more done with procedures and with the removal, my body needed to repair and rest, and I had to ask for help with the simplest of thing such as putting my socks on. I had to ave help with washing and I tried a shower, to which my partner washed me but it was horrendous, I had to be lifted into the bath tub as I could raise my leg high enough to get over, then the water landing on my abdomen was just making everything worst, and because of the pain I couldn’t handle being lifted out, so it took everything in me to step out over the bath, the shower was meant to help me feel good instead I felt even worst.

7680c356-6594-426b-8105-df40d7b43c09

My excision points where extremely tender and sore, to where when I moved I could feel the stitches, as they were pulled so tight, I could then later in the week start to feel my insides to where the endo was removed. They were red and bruising was start to come through, I had to replace the dressing due to the first lot being soaked through with blood and then the next ones had been as well. I have been keeping them cover due to how tight the stitches are, but also because after my last surgery I caught them and tore some of my stitches and this time I wasn’t taking the chance due to having alot more stitches. My belly is very swollen, which will come down but due to this I’m unable to wear any of my clothes due to not fitting, so that why I was living in my nighties the first week as it was loose and comfy.

The first week I tried to go out a bit just so I had fresh air but also so I could walk, as standing up was alot more comfy for me, but it was very tiring and painful after so long. Lets just say I watch alot of TV the first week just because I couldn’t really focus on reading or anything else. I also received my delivery of clothes that I purchased before my surgery to which I could wear that wouldn’t put any pressure onto my abdomen, which helped cheer me up as it meant I could wear clothes when needed.

The second week I was a little bit more mobile and able to do stuff without help or support but I still needed the help in alot of areas, I was able to go out a bit better and walk around more a bit longer. The second week I also was getting dressed on most days just so I felt a bit more human, I could shower alot easier as well but it was still uncomfortable and painful, and was needing the support with getting in and out and with the waster but I felt alot more human. I was still tired and struggling to stay asleep, but I had managed to be able to lay down which meant no more back-ache, neck-ache or headaches.

My excisions points had started to heal, but I develop an infection with my belly button excisions, which meant daily cleaning with TCP which we got under control and no longer have an infection. My excisions points have still been kept covered, as they are still very tender and sore and I still have stitches so don’t want to catch them. I am still have a bit of swelling and I unable to wear anything that is on my belly, so I am currently living in loose fit dresses for comfort. The bruising starting coming through even more on my belly as well for the points where she removed the endo, as well as the ones with my excision points. I am certainly battered and bruised after this surgery.

I have found being off work and not being able to do much very difficult and have had some emotional days and moments where everything has got to me, but I don’t know if this is also down to coming off my treatment for medically-induced menopause, so my hormones are all over the place. Luckily I haven’t been alone and had someone there to help me in everyday possible, and I am very lucky indeed to have my partner’s help through all this, even when I’m shouting at him saying the totally opposite, but this has been hard on both of us and he knows I don’t really mean it, as i’m just frustrated, tired, in pain and himself knowing my hormones are all over the place.

I’ve know returning back to work slowly, we a phrased return where I do reduced hours and I can take break when I need them, plus I can work from home to help where I am uncomfortable at my desk and chair, I will have a desk assessment once me and my manager have got it sorted, til them I am doing my best. I am still in pain and still recovering but slowly getting back to work will help me with this. Yes I still have stitches and I will do for a while from the looks of things, but I won’t be pushing myself to hard I need to remember that I had surgery and had alot of work done as well.

I have my next appointment with my consultant on the 25th February 2020, this will be where we discuss everything from the surgery to new treatment plan and referral to pain management clinic, as well as if this means every 10-12 months I will need surgery if that is so then we will prepare for it and plan it for every year. I will let you all know how it goes and I will also do another update in another 2 weeks time on how I am recovery.

Til then, thank you again

Full Face of FM World Make-Up & First Impressions

img_2146

Hey all, I wanted to share with you all my friends business, to where she provides amazing products that are just like your favourites but for a fraction of the price, from amazing perfumes and cologne at affordable prices, which smell just like your favourites but for at least half the price or more, plus the smell lasts alot longer, to make-up and everything else in between. I wanted to share a full face worth of products which I purchased from Sarah, as I wanted to see what the make-up quality was like and here I am sharing my impressions and products with you. You can check out what other amazing products Sarah has to offer via page and shop.

So I gave Sarah a task with these products, I knew I wanted the foundation that was the one thing I definitely wanted to try, after that I gave Sarah free range to pick the rest of my face make-up. I am going to show and tell you about the products I received and my review on the products, and I’m hoping with sharing my opinions you won’t be scared of using FM World as I know alot of people avoid the products or what FM World is, but you shouldn’t be as just like Sarah this is her living and how she makes her wages to pay for her groceries and bills, so please do support those in FM World and of other businesses.

Blur Effect Lifting Foundation

img_2147

This was the foundation that I wanted to try as I had seen Sarah use it and wanted to give it a go, so the shade I got this in was Light Nude. The foundation comes in a clear glass bottle, where you can see the shade through it, then you have a Black pump top, with a clear plastic lid. On the front of the bottle the lettering is in Black, which then has a nice line border in Black to surround it, on the reverse side it lists a little about the product and then shows all the ingredients that were used in making the foundation, Underneath the foundation it has a little sticker with the shades name on it.

The foundation is of an nice texture which is smooth and soft, when it came to using the product I pump the foundation directly to my face, to which I have used both my fingers and sponge to apply it and blend it out, the foundation is easy to use with a number or applicators, but have found that using a sponge has been the easiest. The coverage that this foundation has provided a near enough full coverage for me, as due to my problem skin which has major breakouts, scars and red patches, along with the combined skin type I was worries it wouldn’t cover these very well, I have been left surprisingly pleased as it covered most of my major problems, providing an even coverage of foundation and a complexion which looks to be clear and even toned skin. The foundation isn’t oily and feels light to wear and due to the special ingredients which have particular optical properties it helps blur those imperfections away.

Long-Lasting Automatic Eye Pencil

img_2151

This eye pencil comes in a long Black rectangle cardboard box, then it’s lettering is White, on the front it lists some key points about the eye pencil, it also has the shades name on the front. Then on the other sides you have an how to use, address of the company along and then have the ingredients used in making the eye pencil. Open up the box and take out the pencil, and you will find that the pencil comes in a thin Black plastic pencil shaped, where as you did with the box have the lettering in White. The lid is a a pull off and push back on, this pencil is a wind up once you go blunt on the pencil.

img_2152

The eye pencil is of a soft and creamy texture but is quite firm and solid, which helps keeps it’s thin shape. Using the pencil is made easier with the long thin shape, you have an better control of it and can manage it better when applying to your eyes. Plus once the end goes blunt at the end, at the base of the pencil if you remove it you will find a mini sharpener to help keep it having a point. The application of the pencil provides a solid strong line, which helps you to get your eye look either the natural everyday look you want, or help create the dramatic look, thanks to this pencil you can create thin line to thick line with ease. The best thing about this product is that it is smudge-proof, waterproof and provides a velvet smooth finish.

Phenomienal Mascara

img_2154

Just like the eye pencil this mascara comes in a long Black rectangle cardboard box, then it’s lettering is White, on the front it lists some key points about the eye mascara, it also has the shades name on the front. Then on the other sides you have an how to use, address of the company along and then have the ingredients used in making the mascara. Open up the box and take out the mascara, and you will find that the mascara comes in a chunky Black plastic circular tube shaped, where as you did with the box have the lettering in White. The wand is of a unscrew and screw on, and when you take out the wand, it has a Black wand, where the wand is made up of silicone bristles which seems to be evenly spreaded out and consist of short and long ones.

Using the mascara you will find that the brush doesn’t clog up on the bristles and is removed when you remove it, all but right at the end of the brush, which you just wipe off. Applying the mascara to my eyelashes the mascara catches every single one of my lashes and coat them in the Black mascara, and separates each lash. My lashes look fuller and longer, which helps to define my eyes and create a natural falsie look.

Long-Lasting Matte Liquid Lipstick

img_2156

Just like the eye pencil and mascara this liquid lipstick comes in a long Black rectangle cardboard box, then it’s lettering is White, on the front it also list the shades name on the front. Then on the other sides you have an how to use, address of the company along and then have the ingredients used in making the mascara. Open up the box and take out the liquid lipstick, and you will find that the lipstick comes in a chunky clear plastic circular tube shaped, with a Black handle, the lettering on the clear section is in Black. Underneath you will find the shade name on a small sticker. The wand is of a unscrew and screw on, and when you take out the wand, it has a white wand with a flat sponge applicator at the end, which absorbs the liquid lipstick easily, and you can wipe off the excess on the side.

img_2157

This wasn’t my first FM World Liquid Lipstick I have tried, I had one in red that I tried out and blog about, which you can check out here, but I wasn’t impressed last time, but this time round with a different shade, I found that applying some of the lipstick to my bottom lip and rubbing my lips together, which coats mostly all my lips apart from the the vermillion part of your lips, which is where I then apply and to which I leave to dry and if needed apply a second coat. The lipstick drys fully matte, and the colour is super rich and full of pigment, once it dry it also doesn’t dry your lips out causing them to look dried and crack, the lipstick still provides your lips with moisture. This lipstick has been put to it’s test fully and I can confirm it is smudge-proof, kiss-proof, waterproof and lasts ages.

Magnetic Palette with Powder, Highlighter and a Eye-Shadow & Blusher Inserts

img_2158

This magnetic palette has a White base, with a frosted magnetic lid, which in each corner you can see the magnets. On the front of the palette the logo is done in White. With FM World you can buy inserts for these palette which are magnetic which can be inserted and stay put, but also the best thing is you can mix & match to create the palette of your choice for whether you are off travelling or want to create different palettes for different looks. The inserts I have for this palette are the following;

  • Face Powder in Porcelain, which is the perfect shade for my pale skin and can be used on it’s own or over top of your liquid foundation to set it in place. The powder is soft and light and can be applied with ease to help create either a soft everyday non-make up look or to help create a more matte skin tone.
  • Highlighter in the shade The One, this is a gorgeous shimmer shade which is full of pigments and can be used all over your face to highlight your feature, this catches the light well and glisten to helps create that extra sparkle to your look whether that is everyday or a glam evening look.
  • Blush/Eye-shadow in the shade Charisma, which is a gorgeous marble shadow, which has a mixture of different shades of Pinks in specks, this product can be used for both blusher and eye-shadow and have a touch of shimmer to it. The shade is full of pigment and very rich in colour, which is totally buildable and I personally think every time I use it my eye look like they are a slightly different coloured Pink. This is a fab everyday colour for your eyes and a great basic for blusher which everyone should own in their make-up collection, but as usual these can be used for everyday to evening looks.

Overall I am in love with these products, I created a look using just the FM world products and I absolutely love the look I have created, with my skin looking of an even tone and looking clear due to the coverage, but it doesn’t feel heavy and means I forget that I even have foundation on. Just because I have the one eye colour, I can still build onto it to create a stunning Pink eye look which is then defined by using the mascara, plus for someone who doesn’t like eye-liner and doesn’t use it unless for special occasions or playing around, but I absolutely love this and have used it everyday since getting it. The blusher as I had said before is just a statement shade to have in my collection with it’s sort drewy pink tones. I am also in love with the lip colour it’s not nude which is a bonus, but its of a pink/purple tone and it is simply stunning and suits my pale skin and the whole look to where it completes it. I would highly recommend these products and I will definitely be getting some more and I will definitely be buying a few more palettes and inserts to create a few more different palettes for me to use, and for me to take on my travels or put into my handbag for everyday.  This make-up gave me more confidence in myself and helped me feel better in myself once applied due to the nature of coverage and pigments in the product.

Jean Miss Romantic Party Eye-Shadow Palette

img_2212

This eye-shadow palette by Jean Miss is another product I got from my make- up dealer Catherine from My Cosmetic Corner (Make Me Up), you can check out to see what other products Catherine has via her page and shop, plus if you place an order via her shop you can get 10% OFF by using my discount code BB10.

The palette comes in a square magnetic cardboard case which is of a champagne colour and is done in a gold leaf effect all over the palette, which catches every bit of the light and it has what looks like looks of lines in different thicknesses all over it, then you have the lettering in Red. The problems with this palette having this Champagne foil/gold leaf effect is that it makes the writing very hard to read. On the back of the palette, I am taking a guess that it lists the ingredients and other information about Jean Miss, but due to the company being Chinese, the palettes writing is mostly in Chinese which means I can’t read it or understand it.

Open up the palette and you will find the champagne gold leaf design continues inside, and then in the lid you will find a square mirror, then in the base you will find the 16 eye-shadows in squares, on each of the eye-shadows you will find “Jm” has been made into each of the shades. Underneath each shade you will find the shadows name in Black lettering, which isn’t very clear to see. This palette consists of matte and shimmer shades.

When it comes to using the eye-shadows, I found the eye-shadows to be very pigmentation, rich and strong in colours. The eye-shadows are easy to transfer and can be blended well together. The palette consists of warm tones and are a mixture of Nudes, Browns, Pinks, Red and Purple shades, the name of the palette “Romantic Party” suits it very well, as the colours are all what you would associate with romance, and the shimmer then adds to the party side, to where the light catches them and they sparkle. This palette can be used to create a numerous amount of different looks from everyday to the special glam looks for evening or special events.

Overall for another brand that I hadn’t heard of before buying a palette from Jean Miss from Catherine, and for being a Chinese brand this palette is fab the colours are super strong and I love each colour they are super cute and has made some amazing looks. I much prefer the shimmers to the matte in this palette due to them seeming to be even more rich and soft and just create a super powerful look. I have a couple more of Jean Miss palettes and I’m really hoping they are as good and strong as this palette. I would recommend this palette to others.

Remember you can get 10% OFF your order if you place an order via Catherine’s shop by using my discount code BB10.
